GPP’s #FundOurFutures campaign has secured $100 million in pledged new funding for global LGBTI movements at a crucial moment.

Amid rising anti-rights backlash and dramatic shifts in the philanthropic and development assistance landscape, the Fund Our Futures campaign will raise $150 million in new funding for global LGBTI movements. To date (nov 24), 28 funders have committed $100 million to Fund Our Futures. The campaign has brought philanthropy, governments, and corporate donors together – and it invites more donors to join the call to raise $150 million for global LGBTI movements.
Across the globe, LGBTI communities are facing an unprecedented wave of attacks, orchestrated by anti-gender and anti-rights movements that seek to roll back human rights and undermine democracy for all. LGBTI movements are on the frontlines of struggles to protect our fundamental freedoms. But the funding landscape is changing dramatically. In a time when progressive funding is needed more than ever, several long-standing top global LGBTI donors are likely ending or scaling back their funding programs.
The Fund Our Futures campaign is a collective response to this emerging crisis in global LGBTI funding. Together it will unleash $150 million in new funding for LGBTI movements.
